a reminder from my greatest teacher

Went on a walk this morning and was reminded of how I use to send all my truest wishes into the wind with a big breath onto a dandelion.

These days my wishes are to escape this horrid of cycle of grief. To not feel constantly gut punched by the xenophobia, transphobia, state violence, and white supremacy directed at me and the ones I love so dearly.

I wish to build solidarity so intertwined and necessary that when they come for one of us — they come for us all.

I wish to build movements that center our collective resilence, joy and creativity and not the trauma & pain.

I wish to build collective power so vibrant that that it holds us as we rest and buoy us back stronger, fuller, and well rested.

I wish to move resources and power to support us thriving and dreaming.

I wish to always come back to nature to remember that it has always known what to do.
